Are there any science/technology programmes on in the week that I might be missing?

I find myself watching children's science and technology programmes sometimes... they're actually quite fun and informative

What do you think about beach pebbles increasing in size by tidal layers rather than decreasing by tidal errosion?

Oh, absolutely! For me, the RI Christmas Lectures are one of the highlights of the year -- actually, more so when they were broadcast on the BBC! It's where I first encountered my hero, Richard Dawkins.
