Eco Nazis, oh dear, what a ridiculous analogy. You really are rather desperate people aren't you. Sceptisim is a good thing but the extreme glee displayed whenever there is a tiny piece of media that displays sceptisim is quite telling. Most sceptics are in denial because they are sadly addicted to cars, which is a testament to how sad their lives must be.

Hi Robbie, It's just a normal playground bully technique to imply before the debate starts that people who disagree with you are somehow weak or strange. I'd ignore it.

As I've said before Nazi is too nice a word. As is common too you enviro 'girlie men' miss the whole point, i.e. weenies, like you, do more harm than good. I AM addicted to my car, amongst other things, it gets me to work everyday. It's a pointlessly powerful, overly expensive, gas guzzler to boot and, addiction or no addiction, I LOVE it! According to you, that'll be something to do with my small weener no doubt... I have news for you though, there are a few million more 'addicts' out there, just like me, and a countless number of wanna-be's across the globe, working their asses off to join the club. Next time drive by a Loser-Cruiser, that's a 'Bus' to you, I'll wave. It'll be easy to spot you, you'll be the one wearing the slightly worn t-shirt saying “Help us we're all doomed! The Ozone layer is expanding and the millennium bug is on the way!!”

I know Steve_M but unfortunately if you ignore them they don't go away. And I've found that by far the easiest people to wind up are the wind up merchants themselves. Which I admit is infantile but fun! Sorry. Robert1234 at this moment will have his veins throbbing from anger. It doesn't occur to people like him that they may get some of their own medicine. He will probably crash his car tonight on the way home, from lack of concentration, that's if he ever can go faster than 5 mph in the rush hour.

So Steve 'the Scientist', a bully huh? Aren't bullies normally cowards who pick on those weaker than themselves? In here aren't we all the same size, metaphorically speaking? So I guess its kinda hard to be a bully wouldn't you say? I had no desire to 'imply' anything about Robbie, or anyone else for that matter, being 'weak' or 'strange', it's you who just made that particular implication. Implication is not my strong point either, as you should've sussed by now really. Yep, if i think someone is a greeny weenie or Eco Nazi I tend to just write it. So I think you've mistaken, juvenile name calling, for bullying, you misguided, greeny weenie, you. And IF (by your implication...) you actually think there is a debate somewhere in here then read my main posts and respond, by all means. The gauntlet is down, I'm so dying to hear from you. And if you really do want a debate READ the original posters topic first would you, (that's ME in this thread) and try to respond based on the actual argument made, I'm tired of repeating myself. I think I can guess at your answer “I wont waste my time” telling indeed.

Yeah but Robert1234, all these "And ifs" and prejudicial profiling explaining what we look like etc, you've never met me, you have no idea, it reminds me of that Harry Enfield character in the pub.
David Beckham NO!
All you are doing is revealing the contents of your prejudicial and paranoid head.

Same challenge to you 'Robbie' debate the actual arguments I make in my main posts. That's kinda the point of the thread. I wont hold my breath.
Veins doing fine thanks, I work from home actually so not too much commuter traffic for me, but I just checked my speed average for the last trip in the ole SUV, 32.8 mph, MPG 18!
