Hiya guyz
I was with some of my friends adventuring around the Bill Quay banks over the Tyne. We had 2 rush home so we cut through some wooded areas and fields. One o the fences was electric so we cut through soem bushed at the edge of the field. I was their when I felt the ground got really hard and I tripped over and scrathed miself on the bushes. I landed on something really hard, wen I got up I picked up a slab of this hard material which was covered in mud. I thought it was just a stone but I still took it because it had an interesting shape.
On the way back I was playing with it and I started throwing it off the pavement. When it hit the ground it sounded an awful lot like metal. As I got closer to home I was rubbing part of the stone and it revealed a dazzling shine. I was amazed so I kept it. When I got home I soaked it in water and washed off the mud. It came out very shiny.
2 months later I was doing my Physics work and we were looking at Platinum nuggets, the poictures looked increadibly identical to the slab I found. I looked at it wen I got5 home and noticed a lot of similarities. Can someone tell me if they think it is platinum? I might go back there and get more because the slab in the ground was the size a dining table.
Here are some pics (they dont look very shiny then they are off camera.)
