I have found the debates on this forum fascinating.
There seems to be a balance of viewpoints and we are learning from each other (though we may not always acknowledge it!). I suspect the discussion on this forum will move on from the environment as soon as the next controversial channel 4 science programme hits the screen.
It makes me wonder if there is a more permanent forum for these types of debates ?

If there isn't such a forum, do we need one ?
I think it would be a GOOD idea to have a GW forum to debate this issue.
Reason being there is a strong crossover between science & politics here. I'm reluctant to open threads that are more political on this forum as that would be too off-topic.
But this is where the GW debate is certainly the hottest (pun not intended).
...yea would be nice to have a forum where people traded science points not third hand opinions... eg this is why a bit more co2 causes a lot of warming... wavelengths... altitude etc...
...then a scientific opposing view... it does not because this research shows it works like this...
