The real reason of the surprising consensus on global warming between politician and activitists on the global warming issue in the developed nations, is of course for the politicians this is an effective way for blocking economic development of developing nations.

Coming years will see the developing nations like India and China be the major producers of carbon and the shift will be definitely away from the developed nations. Now how can we make it difficult for these nations to get their masses out of poverty? Let's make producing of carbon more expensive- simple isn't it?

There is no way we can have economic development in countries like India and China without them producing carbon at an exponential rate from the current level and of course if 'carbon' can be shown as something bad, this makes the effort of trying to maintain status quo (developed nations remaining developed and developing nations remaining developing) so much simpler.

Pathetic and this is really a great programme

Really Mr Writer? Doesnt seem like it to me. Ole "What's in" seems to get it pretty damn well as I see it. Better to have been fooled that to be a fool I'd say.

Would LOVE to hear your ideas on how the developing world should uh, develop, without using the same fossil fuels we did and still DO.

But oh no if they do that means more EEEEEEEKKKK!!! C!!! 0!!! 2!!!!! Oh no! its the great CO2 monster, you know, CO2 it's kinda like AIR but nicer!

Personally, I have no idea.

I am pretty sure that global warming will cause the emigration of 20 million Bangladeshi's in the next 200 years or possibly sooner, and much sooner than that will require the British tax payer to cough up a fortune in tax to pay for a vast new Thames barrier to cope with sea-level rise, an upgrading of all road surfaces, railway lines, electricity cables etc. to cope with hotter summers, and probably a bigger security service to keep out all the climate change refugees.
