i thought of some otheres my friends have been to V festval global gathering...

This month I went to Wacken Open Air festival in Germany. Extreme Heavy Metal.
In April I went to Fields of Rock in Holland. More Heavy Metal.

Here's the deal folks. Major English festivals are terrible. For the price of my Wacken ticket and flight to and from Germany I could have bought a Download Ticket (English Metal Festival). The service is far greater, working toilets and showers, better, cheaper food, cold beer!! and the scureity aren't out to riun peoples time.

I will not go to another English Festival after seeing how the Europeans treat us festival gooers.

My favourite is Thornborough Music Festival.

It is the Isle of Wight !

Don't forget Bestival, also on the Isle of Wight. It has won the top prize for the best medium sized festival for several years.
