nothing school sucked

Being able to sit with your mates all day and finish at 3.10!
Now my mates work across town and I do the average 8 hour day. I miss all the high hinx and the jokes we used to have. It's not the same at work!

Long holidays

I don't miss school, but I do miss my old school mates a bit

I miss all my old school friends, I've moved away from my home town and so I see them very rarely now!!

oh my god, what kind of school did you go to? we had lessons til 4 then compulsory prep from 4.30 til 5.30

I dont miss school at all, but i do miss college, had a real laugh wish i could go back to those days, but never school!

Miss some of the lessons and teachers, but kids no chance they were horrid throughout my whole school life and bullied me! hate them for it.

I became a teacher and did teach at my old high school, what an experience that was, no respect at all for the elders!!! terrible...did 6 years and that was enough, got out of it now.

I do miss taking part in school shows though.

Netball and rounders..

rounders was great. we didnt need school for that though, we'd play it out on our street (lived in a cul-de-sac so few cars).

muckin about in chem and physics lessons!! the teachers soo didnt know what to do!!! lmao!
funniest times were thos lessons! that was only 2 yrs ago!! haha

Absolutely nothing. Hated every minute of secondary school. Best day of my life when I finally left; absolute torture.

I hated school but looking back there were good points i miss my history teacher (drool) and i miss the fact that i didn't have loadsa bills to pay, like now!

Oh I loved school, it was just sooo much fun! Especially lunchtime! I hated P.E though, our teacher was evil, she should have been in the army! All we ever did every week for three years was basketball!

I left school in 1947 (Yes, honest!) and I missed nothing at first. But now into retirement I am suddenly filled with nostalgia for the old place! I love to go down to the river where the school has a boathouse and watch them getting into the boats and rowing away. I look at those youngsters and think 'I was just like them once!' I have even contacted two of my old classmates via Friends Reunited!

i miss sneaking into the toilets for a fly fag! or the laughs we used to have. we used to have water fights in the toilets at lunch tim! we all ended up soaked!

I miss messing around, winding teachers up! Feeling no responsibility. Skiving down the field, getting into trouble, smoking in the toilets, locking teachers in the classrooms, being a friend to many! But mainly the fact that i could depend on my mother for a roof over my head, food in my stomach clean clothes, hot water etc. Its all down to me now.

^ Yep I have to agree to that. work was always ubbish and a drag but at least you had your mates around all the time.

I don't miss that actually, I know I only finished school a year ago, but college isn't really that much different when you think about it.
