A bit of BJ wit and wisdom:

We all went to our first day of secondary school, shivering with fear because we had all heard about him from our older siblings etc. So he calls the entire first year boys into the changing rooms. He walks up and down, asking the odd name, while we quake. Then he smiles sweetly and says:" You've all heard about me haven't you? What a B@trd I am? How I throw people into the swimming pool fully clothed etc? You've all heard the rumours?" Still smiling: "come on, I won't bite, you've all heard that rubbish"

Brave soul: "Y y yes sir"

Bill: "WELL I'M F'ING WORSE!"


Turned out to be the nicest man it has ever been my privelage to meet. Miss him lots.

In primary school my favourite teachers name was Miss Onions (who later married and became Mrs Wright... how boring!).

In secondary school my favourite teacher was called Miss Sayers.. my drama teacher but she left cos she had a mental breakdown.

Mr Jones from middle school and Mr Brimble who was an absolute legend. So funny but he never meant to be... he was great!

i loved all my primary school teachers

but in high school i had some massive crush on my geordie maths teacher

My fave teacher in Infant school was Mrs Aberg, she was brill...
My Fave teachers in Secondry school would have to be:
#1 Mr Hall (the humanites teacher not the P.E 1). He was ace, treated you like a person and used to give me and my m8s a note to get into lunch early so we could all go up and sit in his room and have a laugh.
#2 Mr Dymond (form tutor). Was a welsh guy who played rugby. He was lovely and made me cry on my last day....
Was loadsa teachers who were a bit dippy who used to make us laff, that i liked aswell...
God i miss school.....

In the junior school is was my year 6 teacher mrs Vaungh. She was lovely.
In secondry school i guess it was Mr Watts or Mr Moughton.
Or the ones we used to mess around with and they got into quick tempers and it was funny - Miss Grinning Ham and Mrs Agnew! (I was a cow in school!)

I'm still at school, my fave teachers are Mr Crawley - my form tutor and teaches graphix, he's cool cos he's real sarcastic but in a jokey way, he lets me and my friends annoy him lol. My other fave teacher though, is Mr Burrell - teaches music, (one of my fave lessons, though so is graphix, and CPA (Creative Performing Arts), lol. But he's kind of strange sometimes, apparently in form, my friend told me that another form went in there to use the computors, and he was goin around going 'oh we've been invaded by mr hankinsons form!' lol, he's so funny, but strange, lol, but one of the better teachers.

Mr Beckett. Such a great teacher.

Mr O'Hara.
Looking back this is. He was quite funny. History teacher.
But I liked all my geography teachers I ever had, Ms. Sledgewick, Ms. Duckworth, Ms. Otero, and Mr. Pearce

Mr Ivanovich, all the girls liked him Quite a heartbreaker!

Mr Nixon - or Big Jim Nixon - We had him for english and he was such a great teacher.

Mrs Donnelly - Again english but in a different year, possibly she was one of the strongest influences in my adolescent life!

Miss Sharratt - Spanish teacher and I had a huge crush on her in school and she knew it lol

You know what I liked all my teachers exept one but these were the main three!

Its gotta be Mr McGowan for me!
he was lovely

Mrs Hannan my German teacher deserves an honourable mention for getting me through my German A level. She was fab. On results day I did much better than expected and she was so pleased she gave me a big hug!

oh mine has to have been in jr school Miss Palace she was a gem she was a suply teacher so was always glad when my teacher was sick

Mr A Hunter-Jones art teacher

Mrs. Bergman. Social Studies teacher. She was stern but fair. She was the type of teacher who nobody misbehaved around simply because they didn't want to. She was respectful so in turn we respected her but she wasn't a soft touch either.
Sadly she was only about 31 when she died of breast cancer.

We have a RE teacher called Mr Pringle so well all call him the Pring!

Did he have a moustache and wear a bow tie?

Miss Fitzpatrick, English teacher, form tutor in 4th year. Very radical for the era, made Shakespear come alive, also taught me geography but not the boring things like capital cities, things about how ox bow lakes were formed or how coal was formed, ignious rocks, deciduous trees etc.

In primary it was Miss Woodwood and Mr Sieler and bigi school was Mr Murden my english teacher for the last year, and Mr Crolla my drama teacher

Mine was called Mr Foy, he was excellent as a teacher and really lovely to talk to as well.
