is it possible for a relationship to survive going to seperate unis?
i just wonder if it'll save a lot of heartache to break up before we go, or is it worth seeing if we can cope with the long distance thing? or does that not work?

i dunno i personally found going out with someone who goes to a different school hard enough but thats just me lol cos i get jelous

it would really depend on how far apart you were and how often you could see each other

and also if you trust them or not....cos your not going to be there to see what each others doing

i think its worth giving it a go but whether it lasts really depends on how strong your relationship was to begin with

Personally I have seen both sides of this story. I was at uni for 4 years and went there as a single girl. Although many of my friends were attached in long term relationships, some have survived and others did not. I've actually got two weddings this year as proof that it can work. But have had cried upon shoulders to know many other stories. I actually met my man when at uni and when I left (year and half ago) he couldnt hack me being so far away (an hour)! I guess it just depends on how strong your relationship and feelings for the other person is, there's a lot of trust involved an believe me uni isnt just all fun and you will be a busy bee with work an awful lot further into your course.

This is news to me wobbletastic. So how many do you have on the go at uni then?

I like a bit of gossip who are they? what are there names? what courses do they do? what uni if any do they go to?
