Nothing wrong in a bit of old fashioned commitment.
Hi Chris! Incredible! You agree with the above? Settling, that is, for fours years before you start to breed? Incredible! That's what Occ has said. It's there, above. And no one in all this has critized Richard and Judy and Titchmarsh et al for giving these airhead celebs airtime and the opportunity to retail their nonsense.

I take your point Roth about the shows that give these wasters air time, but then that is because apparently we the watching and reading public want it. You know that I love you like a brother Roth but I think you are being a bit quarrelsome with OV on this point, of course he suggests nothing mandatory but it's a good suggestion, too many people rush ahead with kids before finding out if they are really going to last. I think it is probably a problem as old as time, carried away with the romance of the situation wanting to cement relationship with a baby etc. Anything that stopped the epidemic of (dare I mention him again) ‘Jeremy Kyle DNA testing deadbeats’ has to be worth considering, however euphemistically. As for the youff of today, don’t get me started!!!!!!!

Hi amanda I have a healthy and robust aversion to armchair pub-rant type Daily Mail people who have problems in expressing themselves and presume to tell others how to live their lives. Luckily, we now have many choices. And to blame Jade Goody, for example, for the breakdown of society is a bit looney and lazy. The people who peddle this celeb trash, Richard and Judy, for example, are the ones making a bomb. But it's all overblown, an easy (and lazy) target. I credit most people with more sense and discernment.

Hi dd Agree, whole-heartedly.

It wasn't you who ranted or blamed Jade Goody, Amanda

So now mentioning Titchmarsh is a zappable offence? Can someone update the rules and regulations on here?
Raj Persaud.

I do know what you mean Roth and I, personally would extend my wish for people to take a bit more time over baby making to all corners of society celeb or not. I agree that most people will not adopt a life style of a celeb without consideration, but some children might be influenced who have not yet developed full discernment skills. However, it is never going to be any different. Most celebs by virtue of the fact that they are celebs are a breed apart and maybe the same thing that sees them rise above the rest leads them into drink drugs etc. There is never going to be a winner of this particular debate, I fear!

Going back to the original subject of this topic, Myleene will be appearing on RandJ on the 29th February according to her official website.

Many thanks, Lisey And for bringing this Thread back on topic. Yes, Myleene would seem an ideal candidate for R & J. She is ,after all, the Renaissance woman personified, a classically-trained musician an' all. Bears out my point about the source of R & J's bread.

Dr. Raj Persaud is now to be referred to as Professor Raj Persaud, Consultant Psychiatrist. (That's what now pops up when he pops up) Back on topic - yes, it could be argued that Myleene would be an interesting patient for the worthy professor. Remember that Anthony Clare who made a bomb doing people on TV. ? Or was it Radio 4?

I don't remember Anthony Clare, who was he and what did he do?

Irish psychiatrist, hosted a Radio 4 show 'In the Psychiatrist's Chair,' interviewed Spike Milligan, Ken Dodd, Bob Monkhouse etc. He died a month or so ago.

Katherine has a lovely couple of Ottakers, so I am happy to indulge her. As for the albino chappie, er...what does he do again?
