I was shocked to see 3 grown people appearing on the wednesday show including the two hosts making fun of a poor guy who was obese. Hope they got a good kick out of this. Cause i and my partner who is over weight certainly did not. Untill you have met some one who is obese i dont think you should take the chance to poke fun at them. Some people cant help being over weight due to health or over eating to ease depression or other underlining facters. I think it only fair that you opologise to the many people that are in the same boat as the poor guy you made fun at it was so cruel. I am sure im not the only one thats picked up on these hurtful comments. Please be aware of this in future and dont make fun of people less fortunate than your selves.

With more and more of the population overweight, (myself very much included), I think we have to be a little thick skinned. Having been a chubby chick all my life I have been lucky and never really had any name calling and as I have got this far quite happy and confident with myself it would not really have an affect on me now. I do know, however, that for some people, especially younger ones trying to gain confidence it can cut to the quick. I did not see the clip but if they were making fun of someone for any reason at all, it is not acceptable, especially when you have the ear of the nation (albeit an ever dwindling audience). But then, it's no more than I've come to expect from those two!
