Today I created more mess in the process of trying to have a good "chucking out" of stuff session, had a screaming row with a so-called manager at my credit card company (I felt so much better afterwards) and as it's the 25th anniversary today of the passing away of Karen Carpenter, I've been playing lots of her music.
No concrete plans for the rest of the week, although it would be nice to find another job entirely
Aw, Occy, you're such a good guy. And a Romantic. I wish you could find something better than that job. It's not like you to fall out with anyone, so the manager jerk must really have pushed you. At least you got it off your chest.
The manager was pushing all the right buttons to wind me up for sure. She was of the view that banks don't make mistakes, it's customers who do that. Well, I've found my proof that I'm right and they are wrong, so I'm about to march down there and tell them so.
Having the jobs I have had, while not providing much satisfaction, they have taught me how these places work. They make plenty of mistakes, that much I do know.
That's the good thing about having a few days off as it gives the luxury of TIME to sort things out, rather than trying to quickly make calls at lunchtime.
