...how about 3am on the God channel?
i watched the God Channel at 3 am and there was some prog called Coming Out. This was about former gays and lesbians who would be interviewed about their past. Good and alot better than most progs. on mainstream tv.

Well done for boosting their ratings

yes former means they have become born again again. God gave us a choice and they chose to give their lives to Jesus. The prog on at 3 am was an indepth interview about why and how they made or came to that decision. Very powerful and the host was a former gay male and he was a great intervier.

I do not like dogmatic assertions.
Prove God gave me a choice.
Prove, for Lurpak, Father Christmas exists.

There was a man called Richard.
With the personality of a wet pilchard.
He simply "not" the best.
he's the marmalade without the zest.
its time he retired and gave it a rest.
Judy is shaky but terribly nice.
He is the onion, she is the spice.
His boring, rude comnents always let him down.
He always comes over as a plank and a clown.
If he was my husband I'd kick him in the shin.
Wrap him in cling film, and throw him in the bin.
He is so false, and condescending, and makes me squirm.
Really quite slimey like a slow moving worm. Smile

Surely you're being sarky? Richard Madeley should wear a T-shirt saying "I love me who do you love?!" Giving him his own chat show would be a complete waste of time - for one thing he knows all there is to know about everyone and everything (including giving birth, PMS etc) so there would be little point in having guests - as he would be answering all the questions he asked!! I reckon we should get both Richard & Judy on Jeremy Kyle and see how that goes!! Go for it Jezza!!! Big Grin

Excellent idea Wink

I don't think that tea-time is the best time for Richard, as apart from anything else his bad language would be more suited to a post-watershed slot.

I think a late night radio phone-in, James Whale style, could be worth a try.

The best in bad language and smut anywhere on your dial Big Grin

The James Whale Radio Show. That brings back memories! Remember Mr Methane?!
I saw James Whale advertising a device which is supposed to prevent balding by stimulating dormant hair folicles. Very odd, cosidering he's as bald as a coot!

If I die before this post reaches this Forum, my dying words will be:
"Chr**t! This is the slowest Forum in Internet history"

Memo to Channel 4:
Sort it out, please.

Richard is already hosting his own radio show. It's called 'Down the Line' and it's on BBC Radio 4.

...and Richard's haircut for this radio talk show is even more striking than his one for the last series of R & J.
Odd that - you can't actually see his hair on radio...

When does the Radio 4 show start ?

I've heard "Down The Line" before and have found it very funny. Is it the same format of a spoof radio phone-in ?

I agree that the forum seem painfully slow tonight. Anyone would think that the Channel 4 website had only just launched Big Grin

Coming up on ITV tomorrow (Wednesday 17th): Rich and Jude on the Alan Titchmarsh Show! What a combination - it'll be like Marmite, brussel sprouts and beetroot in the same limp baguette.

...and there was a Madeley last night on "The Grumpy Guide to Teenagers" BBC2, which annoyed me.
I'm rather tired of such vacuous people being self-elected arbiters of taste etc.
BBC - stop, repeat, stop dumbing down, remember your Charter!!

I gave up watching the "Grumpy guide to....." because the celebrity contributors made me even more grumpier Big Grin

Instead I watch Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe on BBC4 at 10pm. Much more enjoyable!

If you listen to "Down the Line" and try to forget that it's Richard, it's not too bad, quite funny in parts and entertaining.
Perhaps, a lot is gained in not actually seeing him.
Perhaps, radio is his forte.

Of course, the ideal way to experience Richard at his very best is when you can neither see nor hear him. Then he's hardly irritating at all.

The point of the Duo's appearance on Titchmarsh was to plug their part in the C4 literacy campaign.
Thank you Richard and Judy, a laudable enterprise.
Will you be flogging books?

When is this on ?

And if it is presented by Richard Madeley, why is the Radio 4 website describing "Down The Line" as.......

"The live, uncompromising phone-in show hosted by award-winning talk radio DJ, Gary Bellamy"

Confused
