hiya muggy! i am sorry to hear about your mum. i hope that she is better now... i expect you have finished Fatal Attraction now,eh? i am still trying to get through Mercy.... it isn't one of those books that can be sailed through...but i am enjoying it nevertheless. even if the subject matter is a little depressing, it is a serious issue among a lot of people in the world today. anyway, i am doing ok...the weather has been pretty good here for the last few days....my favourite kind of weather...chilly but sunny! hope you are well...and have had a good weekend... take care xxx number 5 of the Paul o Grady Fan club!!! #5 of the mindless crew on the Games forum! there are no strangers here, just friends that you haven't yet met*.*.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•.♥.•°♪°•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥.•°♪°•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•°♪ °•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•° ♪°•.♥.•°•.♥.♥.·:¨·.♥

well, i dont agree with the people saying that the book club is commercialism or whatever. it's good to get people interested in reading, and it deserves the success it's had. and so what if it boosts the author's profile. i've read one of their books this year - how to talk to a widower - and i read two last year - the abortionist's daughter and my best friends girl - and i enjoyed them all. so i say it's fab. there's nothing better than reading a good book. and now they are helping out with kids books. it's all good. my best memories of childhood were some of the fab books i read, which i still own.
they stole my sig, my lovely sig!!!! Jack&Kate belong - Jate!

well said crazy chick! i read loads of books when i was a kid too..and i want my boys to have the same enjoyment... i do, however, say that it is part of the great commercialism thing going on.. well! who isn't in on that bandwagon...? but quite rightly said..if it builds up an interest in reading, all the better for it! number 5 of the Paul o Grady Fan club!!!

Hi boysmama That latest Ruth Rendall psychological novel, now in paperback, "The Water's Lovely" is her best ever. As usual set in London, her knowledge of all the streets and areas must mean hours spent pouring over/going to streets etc. Such a good writer.

hiya Muggy!! how are you doing? how are things with your family...is your mum any better..? how is it going with her flat? i couldn't find my Jill Mansell book..so i am reading Cecilia Aherne "Where Rainbows End" - it is ok...it uses pure dialogue to tell the story..no narration at all...it is an interesting way to write a story, i guess... are you still reading Jill Mansell, or are you on something else now? i can't believe that i can't find it..grr... i will do soon though...that's for sure... anyway, i hope that you are ok.... take care of yourself xxx hi gaslamps! how are you doing? how are you getting on with your book? take care xxx number 5 of the Paul o Grady Fan club!!!
