Has anyone been contacted yet about claiming refunds from YSWP entries? We left our name on the number given the first time it was shown, and were told we would be contacted, but so far have heard nothing. Has anyone else had any further info yet?

Hello Amanda, I have rung the freefone claim number 3 times. Absolutely nothing! No surprises there. More ammunition for my ICSTIS claim. I am waiting for copies of all my itemises calls from BT as far back as they can go. I have to pay for that info though! I am contemplating taking a civil action to claim back my cash. I will need to research that one though. Do you know any solicitors who could help? PS I was on this thread as it beats housework. Posts: 29

Hi Amanda, thank you for sorting my posts. Nothing heard from the claim line but keen to pursue as far as possible. A group civil action maybe? Look how joe public took on the banking institutions and won. I wonder if I should ring the claim line number again? or perhaps the winners have already been chosen?
I am on the case mongeywifey, just been to the local radio to muster support I will be doing regular phone in's there. Also look out for Panorama on the 16th April!

PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP. Amanda will help! This is a cause we can crack. Get all your evidence, calls made etc...... and wait for those refund forms to materialise. I wonder whether they are calculating how far back the con goes? I am in the process of writing to CACTUS to ask where my refund forms are.
Also, maybe our posts are being monitered and exterminated! that may be the reason there is little or no interest in the refund? In this computer age I don't see why the refunds to everybody fraudulently charged can't be reimbursed "blanket style" to everybody involved in this rip off.
Panorama are doing a big thing on phone lines, and if you have lost a lot or found yourself addicted, they want to know. If you get in touch, tell them Amanda sent you! Not specifically YSWP, just in general to try and get things straightened out. Don't delay, the prog. goes out on the 16th April.
It certainly does seem that there is a huge delay in the YSWP refund process, I am surprised, I would have thought, if R&J were so 'f......g appalled' as they calimed to be, in the press, they would have made this a priority! I am now broadcasting locally on scams in general! Fame at last (not)!

hi amanda thanks for all you're doing, especially in keeping it alive. after richard madeley's doorstep rant with journalists, i expected the refund process to be in place. but no!! is he all mouth and no trousers? please, any other disgruntled claimants? please post to this forum

Go through to the BBC and ask for Judith on the Panorama research team and say I sent you. I have a number but this site don't like that sort of detail being posted. I am sure they could do it so that you were not recognised.

Well done!! As you so rightly say, we cannot afford to let it drop. I am afraid the revelations that have come to light concerning other programmes and their phone lines have taken the heat off them, to some extent. We must not let it all just fade into apathetic oblivion.
