They dragged the family in front of the nation to explain themselves re: "Charlie Bit Me".

I couldn't watch it properly as the DAB signal was playing up, but I think that was the general gist of things.

Let them enjoy their 15 seconds of fame, I thought the video was rather cute Smile

It's one of R&J's "funny" internet clips.

THE Funniest apparently, although providing you with the link generates a trigger word warning it seems. There will be a link on the main R&J site if you want a butchers Wink

It's the internet equivalent of the 'embarrassing dad dance' - showing how 'with-it' they are by showing video clips most kids have seen so many times they're bored of them. Next up, Richard discovers ebay!

Why is it that whenever R&J do an item that involves a young child, do they behave as though they've never seen one before ?

Rubbish. They just behave as any normal person when you see two delightful children.

Spot on, OV Smile
Whenever there are kids on R & J, their abject fawning demands " pass the sick bag, Alice"

And to continually mock kids, as they do with animals, for cheap and vulgar laughs, really takes the biscuit.
Tasteless!!

A delightful funny little clip of two sweet little kids. How anyone could find that offensive need their heads examining.

A child biting his sibling and then laughing. I don't find it cute, I find it naughty.

I spent years telling my young daughter's not to bite each other and now it's on utube and being applauded. Unbelievable and I worry "whatever next".

Oh so that was what it was, I thought Charlie was a dog! No I definitely do not think that biting warrants any sort of attention other than a severe telling off from Mum or Dad! I know what mine would have done! And it would not have involved U Tube.

If my brother or sister had put their finger in my mouth when I was that age I would have bitten it.

Those of you who watched the clip must see that it was a "put up" job and was not a case of a baby being spiteful just doing what babies do, especially when teething. Puppies do the same and they also grow out of it.

No need to contact the social workers!

Judging by some of the comments on here seems some of you have not even seen the clip. These were two babies, one was about a year the other two.

Those poor children.

I can't wait until one of them bites another child at school and is unable to understand why it is now wrong when they had been congratulated for it before.

Noone has said it's offensive. I said it's not funny and can't see why Finnegan is literally wetting herself with hillarity watching it.

I think the clip rather sweet and provides some much needed sunshine on these dark days.

I like the way the older child says "Char-lie" and I doubt he will go around biting other kids in the playground further down the line. If he does, his parents looked sensible enough to take action.

I agree it may have been rigged, although the dad maintains not.

Anyway, the mum and dad can bank the fee they got from appearing on R&J to put towards the operations for pinning the childrens' ears back later on in life Big Grin

Charlie's dad is now flogging "Charlie Bit Me!" t-shirts and they also have one of those My Face pages or whatever they're called.

I guess this is modern parenting Big Grin
