Did anyone see how much of a fix the last heat was? I couldn't believe that they bigged up one of the acts and not the other.. It was totally unfair whadda ya all think???
I think it was virtually a draw - someone always wins regardless of the gap (too incredible to have an identical vote out of 10 million), and Shayne won.
Seemed pretty even all round to me - in talent, in kissy kissy we all love each other, in having one act per judge - the only thing I noticed was they showed the end of Shayne's version of the single in the clips, and thus he got more of a crescendo. Also he was the final act - always an advantage. Otherwise - not much in it.
Probably I just don't get it - but I liked Shayne anyway - Manchester lad, so have no axe to grind. Anyway - they were both good.
As usual (in talent shows)- the single is overblown, epic nonsense. Cool
I've only seen two acts, the pub band and the cute kid. I think that was on Tuesday's show and they haven't played any more since, have they? What sort of compo is this?
Still, there's been plenty of air time given to the wine club (yawn).
The heat was the pub band and the cute kid.. From the minute it started R & J were bigging the kid up and hardly mentioned the other band... Bit of a shame really would have liked to see a fair fight and wot about all the people that voted? They got stitched too ! The power of suggestion !!!
Thing is though, there must have been 100s of other entries at least as good and many probably better - where are they? This doesn't seem to be a fair compo at all.
Hey you're right about the phome lines, as I was registering my vote, the winner was announced and there was no mention that the phone lines had closed. If there was just one vote between them at the time then my vote could have made a difference.... These comps on the show are a con, I think they (R&J) have already made up there minds before the program starts!! Last time I waste my hard earned cash!
