i've just started reading no time for goodbye, by linwood barclay, seen it advertised on richard and judy a few days back, got it off the play website for £4! anyways, i'm like half way through, really enjoying the book, even though it's completely different to what i expected it to be...anyways...certain chapters in the book is written in italics, usually conversations between two people, i'm quite confused about this, as i don't know who is having the conversations? i get a feeling it isn't cyn and her husband, at one point, i did think maybe it was her family conspiring, but then i read another part, and i think, no it can't be...so does anybody have any idea's about the chapters written in itallics? like who do they think it is? and what they're going on about? because i must admit it's really confusing me more and more as the story goes on!thanks.xx

i only heard richard and judy say the book would make a good read, and the title of the book, i didn't hear the any other parts of the review. i know the whole point of reading a book is to continue reading, and to find out yourself nearer the end of the book, what's going off, but i'm really am, well and truly puzzled, so that's why i thought i would ask :~)

Hi kirstisuga Wave
Yes, I'm having the same problem, and feel I may be a bit thick in not understanding who is talking to whom.
I'm still ploughing on with it, halfway through, so please don't post a spoiler.

I enjoyed it. The one good thing about the show used to be the book club. Are they carrying on with it where they're going?

Yes I believe so, although I cannot believe they will have much influence on a station watched by so few.

I have just managed to purchase No Time For Goodbye from my local Tesco. The assistant told me every week when I asked when it would be in stock that "it flew of their shelves as soon as it was put out"

Hope I do not encounter any problems as I have been looking forward to reading it for weeks.

Have been taking a peak at This Morning this week as they are celebrating 20 years.
Was really nice to see the clips from R&J's thirteen years. Oh how the time flies!
Getting ready for their big start on Monday!
Don't think I will enjoy this show as Richard has said "it is more racey as it is broadcast later" Does this mean more swearing, sex and gutter television? I do hope not or it will be curtains as far as I am concerned.

Whooops I made another mistake, just shows how few people are logging on to this forum, normally I would have been told that R&J's show starts on Tuesday not Monday.

However, I will view tonight to see what has changed.Going by his guest list, David Walliams, not much! Gervais is in USA I think so he is out for a while.

If there are any other posters who are going to view I hope you enjoy.
