I believe Judy and Richard should have an audience to give the show a real edge. Its the way to go. Everyone now has an audience, just look at Sharon Osborne, Paul O'Grady even Deal or No Deal.

What a superb idea. But I wonder if Richard and Judy really need anything more than just a more mature, open-minded, thoughtful and generous viewing audience at home to bring back the old magic. They are still doing a quite magnificent job, and, if only the carpers would grow up and shut up, I feel normal service will be resumed, and the best TV show on TV will be back on top form.

I am a little disturbed that the proposal has even been made. Most disrespectful. The offence has been noted, and shall be dealt with.

Audience? Good idea - Robespierre had one when he was guillotined, as did Charles the First when he was beheaded.

I agree. I feel it is a little insensitive to even suggest we require proof that Richard and Judy has an audience - back home, or anywhere else.

Oh joy, oh great joy, I've now added the dreaded Labras to my 'ignore' list!!! But it's tragic for poor Labia - I mean, if we all ignore the poor blighter, what will be the point, as he only thrives on being a nuisance? Hey, Labras...no point in replying...I can't SEE you!!! How irritating is THAT??? (P.S. I still can't see you.)

Well I admit to being confused Confused

If you put them on your 'ignore' list (whoever) - then aren't you just shooting yourself in the foot? Everybody else gets to read it!!

I reckon I'm just too nosy - and why should I deprive myself of the opportunity to be righteously indignant?

Eh?

(Is there anybody out there????) Big Grin

Thanks Sweetie Big Grin Valentine

I actually feel tons better - great in fact - a shedload of supplements, egged on by googling for all of the salient 'alternative' sites, and I think I'm really getting there.

Incidentally - have you heard of turmeric tablets? Interesting.

LOL, LOL, Diggy! And I wonder what they mean by: "The current problems are independant of the system upgrade and new feature"? Has some jobsworth decided that the Arts thread is best zapped in the interest of upgrading?

Now you mention it, I have, sweetheart. Just yesterday I looked it up for somebody - or rather, curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. We seem to keep colliding like this. Smile I know it's been popular in Indian medicine for centuries for its anti-inflammatory properties & some western studies have confirmed this. I'd also read about it being an anti-cancer agent. I hope that's not why you're interested, but if it is, I'll help you if I can. Smile Valentine

No Marie - not for that reason, but thank you for being so helpful. Do you 'dabble' in alternative medicine - or practice in some capacity?

I have researched so much lately, I'm beginning to feel quite knowledgable about lots of supplements/ailments. I've been drinking Pau D'Arco tea - which is also cited as an anti-carcinogenic, incidentally.

(All hypochondriacs/fellow sufferers or healers - welcome). For all others - welcome anyway - or just click on 'ignore'.

Easy!! Big Grin

Ha ha, I know, I feel eyes beginning to roll Big Grin
No, not a practitioner, Coolana, although my daughter has just qualifed in acupuncture. But I've had cancer myself, some years ago, and have had surgery, chemotherapy, hormone therapy - the lot. But I also visited a healer at the time, and took & researched about supplements, diet and stuff. And I have a chronic condition - nothing to do with cancer - which means I'm interested in any new or alternative research that GPs don't take the time to know about.

Well I'm off to bed, but want to wish you support, good wishes and to say - keep up the research! The internet is really a wonderful resource, a world wide library in your own home, and no-one to tell you it's all in your head, that you are just a suspicious woman, meddling with self diagnosis (talking of eyes rolling Roll Eyes) - or to just shut up and keep on taking the tablets!

I too have a chronic condition that gets worse from time to time - then seems to abate, but lets always try to be pro-active, eh?

Lots of love xx

I dont think a studio audience would add to the r+j prog as i could see Richard playing up more to an audience.

So in the main we all agree that an audience would give that added boost to the show.
Lets have a word with Ms Ross then.
