no no no, no audience, i dont like all that screaming and cat calling and clapping it makes the presenters and stuff hard to hear and you get through only 2/3rds of what you can get through with no interruptions... although an audience would be pretty good if they got big hands like out of gladiators!
CHEG-WIIIIIIN! CHEG-WIIIIIIIN!

So you're a fan of Keith Chegwin, or is there an hilarious twist to the signature?

I just saw this:
'The latest celebrity to sign up for an edition of Five's new series, "Why I hate..." is tea-time host Richard Madeley. In his programme, "Why I hate...Tesco's," he promises to reveal all about the torment he and wife Judy went through following the supermarket controversy. He will also feature interviews with Cherie Blair, Nigel Havers, George Michael and Little Britain star David Walliams in which they all vouch for his integrity and sympathise with his distress. "Why I hate..." will start in December.'

|
Looking forward to that one To be fair though, I think I would hate Tescos if I had gone through similar.

I am quite sure that If I had gone through all that torment I would want to forget it as soon as possible. Richard repeatedly refer to this incident in his life whenever he gets the chance and it is very boring for all the regular viewers. Why he wants to talk about it again beats me. It is about time that Richard should have learnt that it is sensible to keep his mouth shut occasionally.

Stone me!! Not you as well, Chris Branch. Go on - you're doing a subtle double bluff! Can be the only explanation. Next, we'll have the POGs believing in Father Christmas!

It is just my opinion on this particular incident in the Madeley's life Rothgar.I still enjoy the show. I watched POG show one day this week! I was amazed at the way he introduced Kim Cattrell, think this is her name, I only recognized her from the tea advert. He called her a living legend and knelt on the floor as he introduced her. Rather over the top I thought!!! He seems to be shouting rather a lot and winding the audience up to a fever pitch. This is also just my opinion.

Is that your opinion?

Yes it is. Normally when I attempt to voice my views, which does not happen frequently, due to the fact that people are rude, will not accept another persons view and declare that they are going to hound people away from this site. Some people are also very unkind about spelling mistakes, punctuation and seem to get very personal in a nasty way.I expect you will announce that my posts will be added to your Hide Post list which will be a shame as I am quite harmless. This is also my opinion.

I am sorely tempted to send Richard some Christmas gift vouchers for T***** (They Who Shall Not Be Named) Just got in from what was going to be a great night out - but cut short due to incredibly painful shoes, they look great and feel OK for about 30 minutes. After that they began to feel like something designed by the Inquisition. Ah well, il faut souffrir, and all that rubbish

He has to shout because of all the noise the audience makes. I don't think R+J would need to worry over that though. If they had an audience you could probably hear a pin drop.

I wish I'd seen it. You must know Kim Cattrall, from Sex snd the City. She's pretty hot stuff - or rather the character she played is - maybe that's why he was winding the audience up.

Not at all, o touchy one. I just wonder if there's much point in reminding us so often that what you say is your opinion. We're unlikely to mistake it for the voice of God, or a scientific fact. Don't get so uptight.

I know many on here think R&J fawn over the guests too much but at least we've never had to witness anything like this. Soooooooooo camp I bet the PO'G forumers loved it. LOL

Hi friendsetc. Are you sure you're on the right Forum? I think you want the Castleford Project Forum - that's where posts ordinary mortals can't understand are normally posted on.

My apologies Chris Branch, I misread your post and thought you had taken dd's spoof as real.

Ah Rothgar, I thought you would be able to empathise with the problem of breaking in a new pair of Jimmy Choos I am sure Coolana et al will feel for me No idea what/who Castle thingy is, I'm deeply ashamed to admit.
