Battle Royale is pretty funny. I watched it by accident waiting for someone to sort their video recorder out [she is not so bright]. Given the reviews of this film the only thing shocking about it was the fact it really is not violent/scary/brutal/shocking blah blah....
I think its a little disturbing as children are the subject of the film and people don't like to see brutality against children. That was the aim of the shock tactic.
If it had been adukts no one would have batted an eyelid. It would ahve been just a run of the mill film.
I can understand how all you kids out their watching it aren't bothered by it. I doubt I would have been at your age.
However, now that i am grown up wioth children of my own, it has a whole new perspective.

I am not bothered by this movie because it is a work of fantasy. I would like the authorities to get all of these yobs to do this in real life but that is neither here nor there. I hate the real abuse of young kids and because of that fact wont watch true life movies but I enjoy this because as I said before, it's fiction.
