Has anyone ever been scared by a horror film? I have yet to find a film that scares me, I'd love to find a film that leaves me scared out my wits (weird i know lol)
Evil dead scared me when i first saw it, as i was 9 and watched it while staying in a woodland farm house which my auntie owned, I was scared of going for a walk the next day in fear of being attacked by the 'evil fog'. That and a tree could have raped me. Also in the wood there was a place where all these wind chimes were hanging from trees around these gnome statues... frick'n wierd.
A cartoon about Dracula, I was 5 at the time. Only film to give me nightmares, but strangely turned into someting about Thundercats. Also only the bad one I can remember
i haven't found 1 that scares me yet, but 1 did leave me a little uneasy and that was Stephen kings Pet Cemetry. It wasn't so much the story or the effects. It was the little boy. He reminds of when my son was little.
I'm ready to tell you my secret, I see stoopid people!!!
I'd recommend watching What Lies Beneath on your won with all the lights off. (every single one - no cracks in the curtains and cover up the little red powerlight on the tv!). Turn the volume up and have a new pair of pants handy.
Also i saw an ace slasher called Switchblade Romance. Originally in french called Haute Tension (high tension). It's pretty hardcore.
I never used to be scared of horror films and used to watch them in the dark on my own. Then a weird thing happened I went to see The Blair Witch Project at the cinema when i was about 6 months pregnant. Not sure if it was a hormone thing but it scared the bejesus out of me. I had to sleep with the light on for about a week, and now horror films are a big no no. Shame really because i used to love them.
Vince Noir: You know the black bits in bananas, are they tarantulas' eggs? Howard Moon:Please don't talk to me ever again in your life.
this is silly but the first time i saw scream it scared the wits out of me lol.mind you i did have the lights of and my ex phoned me at the same time playing about saying stuff like "i can see you" silly prat
Blair Witch, lol don't laugh. I was young when I watched it anyway and by myself lol

"There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is ENGLAND." - Sir Winston Churchill

Yes, when I was about 15 many years ago!!! It was a balck & white french film called "Eyes without a face". Very scary and now very topical, it's about a face transplant
The Burning. But maybe the reason that movie has had a lasting impact is because we weren't allowed to watch it, but did anyway, and our babysitter thought a fitting punishment was to flip the lights out and chase us round the house with a pair of garden shears laughing maniacally!!!
I'm not scarred honest, we all laugh about it now.
