I have seen lots of sex/love scenes and they leave me cold. I think the sexiest scene ever was the one in 'The unbearable lightness of being' where Juliette Binoche and Lena Olin were photographing each other.

hmmm Drevna, that looks lesbo, but anyway I think for an extreme site, lesbos have to fullfill the criteria as it is an extreme behaviour. My second most romantic/love/sex scene should be in King Kong, when the monkey lifts the chick in one hand and with the other one pulls down her dress. If I was King Kong I would have place the girl on the tip of my glandius just for the hell of it, and cos I am a romantic, I like those small details, and what more romantic than an impossible fellatio.

I want to join this thread phenomenon! I'm not certain, but I don't think anyone's mentioned Out Of Sight with Clooney and Lopez. If you watch this in a packed cinema, after a couple of drams you can't help but get very hot under the collar! You can almost feel the whole audience breathing raggedly. It's a combination of great screen chemistry, gradually increasing sexual tension and the underplayed release of it all. Damn good 'sexual' filmmaking by the boy Soderburgh, I thought. And a shout out to Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland in Don't Look Now. Ay Carumba!

I agree with the 'out of sight' part... the boot of the car... even i'd shag her after that scene. worryingly. i always liked emma thompson and Jeff Goldblum in The Tall Guy.. purely for it's comic value.

Seriously, Bambi, check out any decent modern French film. The sex scenes in French films are..well, sexy! and erotic. Something hollywood knows very little about.

When I was a teenager I really envied Lukas Haas
in that scene in Rambling Rose with Laura Dern.
He was 15 and so it was pretty risque for a mainstream hollywood movie at that time I thought.
