I am going to Australia or New Zealand for 6 months as soon as i can, but I am trying to find somewher to stay. Obviously Hotels won't accept you that long and the only other thing I have found is a homestay web, where you stay with a family, which sounds fun, but its not vetted so i am a bit worried about wether it is legitimate or not?
Does anyone know where i could rent somewhere or stay with a family that is vetted or something, just so i know i am not going to be staying with murders lol!

Go on to the Channel 4 cricket forum and ask there. That forum is full of Aussies and poms living in Oz, some of whom are sure to be able to point you in the right direction. After nine pm is the best time as they are usually up and about by then. I'll stick a post on there for you as well, asking if the aussies can post something on here for you. They seem a pretty decent bunch and I'm sure they'll be glad to help if they can.

how old are you and where exactly are you going? city, bush, for school, work?? etc??
