We've been twice and L O V E D it!!! Its a fantastic place and definitely worth a visit. We've been twice to the same resort in north eastern cuba in a province called Holguin to an area called Guardalavaca. The hotel was called Playa Pesquero and we have since recommended it toa family member who also went and loved it.
I really fancy Cuba. Did you visit Havana? Am wondering when I decide to go, maybe next year, whether to have a 3 day stop there with the rest of the fortnight at a beach resort.
I will have a look at Guardalavaca as you have recommended it as a resort.
