Hello,
I am planning on a trip around the world in a dingy, how long approximately do you think it is going to take me? i was thinking maybe about 40 days but im not quite sure. Also i need to know how much food i will need to take and what type, and anything else that may come in handy, but there is limited space in a dingy so i really need some help!

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Well when I went on an around the world trip in a hot air balloon it took me 80 days, but I was able to stop of in places and get up to lots of adventures. So if I didn't stop I probably could have done it in the 40 days you are planning on doing it in.

Have you thought about taking 2 dingys, you can put food in one and you can be in the other one, and you can tie a rope between the 2 dingys so one doesn't float off. It means you can take more with you.

Also I would look for advice on the currents, you don't want to be floating into rocks.

I'm very scared about it though and i dont really want to go alone, il figure something out and yes i do need advice on the currents i dont actually know how to use a paddle properly

well i went round the world on a deer , and it took one night

well that is quite an achievement i must say! i booked some lessons with an instructor tomorrow im going to cotswolds water parks i really hope i can learn in time

Also some idiot whacked me with a paddle when I was there and I fell in.

i went banana boating there and ringo riding ahhaha and there was this massssive wave that built up when i was on the ringo and i went like 2 or 3 feet in the air and did 2 flips in the air and landed SPLASH in the water and i only hurt my foot haha it was soo funny! i have a picture on my phone hehe you can see me in the air in a seated position hehe

When I was there last I went on one of those small boats and I managed to capsize the thing, the boom with the sail thing swung around hit me over the head and I went into the water and the boat rolled over on top of me, But I survived.

hahhahhhhaha i nearly died in the sea sailing before!! we were in scotland and we went to the sailing school once, but were not doing it again it was waaay to expensive!! and the second day we were with this english instructor person and the weather was really bad an i was scared hahaa an he goes do you know what a jive is and we were like no and he just grabbed the turny thingy an went this! and the boat went right up on its side and i was holding on so much ahha it was quite funny though ahhah and then it kinda just went baack to normal hahaha!

well my paddling lesson was good i learnt how to hold it and put it back in the water. dingys are so small, i never knew how small they actually are hmm, il have to write a good list of what i actually need to take

Somebody could have gone overboard, then he would have to of explained his actions to a lot of angry people.

For your trip can't you buy an oversized dingy, I mean it's going to have to carry a lot of stuff.

why dont you just buy a rubber ike big sized boat whitch will be like a dinngy but a lot biger

You are so lucky to do that! Hey, I suggest that when you go to Africa, visit in Morocco and stay in a medina there. You will definitely have a great time during your stay in the country.

oh i sure will im still waiting for my dinghy to arive because i got one and it had a hole in it so i sent it awway to be repaired! there taking there time with it, they really are

yep i have one in my cupboard, i'll need it once i hit those rocky waters
