We are thinking of going at the end of August. We would like to stay in a villa or appartment with shared pool in a quiet area. We're not bothered about kids clubs etc, the simpler the better.. Any recomendations or advice?
Went to Montenegro and Croatia 20 years ago when it was still Yugoslavia - a beautiful place which is getting itself back on track - Dubrovnik is lovely.
Back then inflation was rampant. The largest note was 50,000 dinar and this was worth £1 - changing money was interesting!
Croatia is a beautiful country. It can be a little pricey but it's well worth the money. The whole country is naturally stunning, the people are very friendly and there's so much rich culture and history to discover.
