hi, I am trying to find the best resort/area to stay at for good snorkelling on Mauritius. I am asking for my brother in law who would also love to play golf there!
Lucky you going to Mauritius! I went there about 5 years ago and had THE most fantastic holiday. It is a bee-ooo-tiful island. More to do and see than you would think from such a tiny island.
I flew with Air Mauritius who were brilliant. When I got there I stayed in Grand Baie. I'm not a swimmer so can only say the scenery was stunning and the water beautiful. They do advise you were these little rubbery shoes though when you go into the water. Somewhere which might be good for snorkelling is a little island just off Mauritius (easy to reach doesn't take long) called Il Aux Cerfs. Paradise personified is that. Most people go there whilst in Mauritius.
