I would love to visit Columbia in 2005. I know some parts are dangerous but I'd just like to visit Bogotá, the salt cathedral, Cartagena, Riohacha and the coast around there.
Has anyone been?

I've been to south america with Kumuka who are an excellent company, not sure if they do Columbia though.

Bogota would be do-able, likewise Riohacha, not too sure about Cartagena or Medellin though. Best to check the FCO website.

Wherever you do go, you will need good insurance, you're best to go through a specialist insurer like the one provided by STA as they will tailor it to the destination.

Hope you get there, I've got to say I'm quite envious. South America is truly amazing.
