hi there, have booked a week's holiday in sunny beach area of bulgaria end of june. going with my friend? anyone been? anything to recommend or warn us about?
I have been to Bulgaria several times but none recently and so long ago in the case of Sunny Beach that it was still Communist then :O.
It struck me as fairly grim but I presume it has much modernised. I much preferred nearby Varna. Pett crime and water shortages were the problems when I went.
