i am planning to go to fuerteventura this summer but wondering what it is like there. has any one been before if yeah. what is it like there and does it have a water park (i love going to them lol)
I went a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Stayed in correlcho (sp) which is the liveliest resort, though not too lively. Put it this way, if you want a good night out you can, but its not full of yobs or anything! Beach in town wasnt brilliant, but a 5 min taxi ride took us to a brilliant beach, sandy and massive waves. Great fun! Also scenery was lovely, hired a car and drove into the mountains for a day and saw some great views. There was a waterpark next to our hotel but unfortunately it was closed down, not sure why. It may be open again by now, but i would think there would be another one on the island somewhere. I wouuld def reccomend fventura to anyone after a short haul holiday in the sun.
