I am sure we all have one liner stories that make fabulous 'dinner party' conversation but are horrendous at the time.

1. 'Holding on' for 17 hours on a train through Africa for fear of using the 12" hole in the floor that constituted a toilet.
2. The only restaurant we could find in the village had microwave food and the sausages were cold.

Who can think of funnier?

Eating a VERY dodgy lamb curry on said train in Africa and .... well, you can guess the rest!

Spending ages in the Technological Museum (can't remember which country) examing a disability access wheelchair lift, thinking it was some type of new fangled modern equipment!
